DRY STONE WALL + AESTHETIC STRUCTURE CRAFTSMANSHIP

Dry laid stone projects are designed and built by Dry Stone Mason Matthew Reilly to accompany our landscape designer's plan for your yard or garden.

A long-time Country Landscapes' employee, Matthew was introduced to the Dry Stone Conservancy in 2005 and he began learning about the centuries-old art of stacking stone for fences and retaining walls. In 2011, Matthew became a level 1 Dry Stone Mason under both the Dry Stone Conservancy and Dry Stone Walling Association of Great Britain certification schemes. At that time, Matthew's interest expanded into the building of aesthetic structures called cairns. (Cairn: a term used mainly in the English-speaking world for a man-made pile (or stack) of stones.)
