DESIGN + INSTALLATION SERVICE

Preparation

The first step into your new outdoor living space is to identify to project you have in mind for this year. A collection of magazine photos or addresses of landscapes you like help us visualize your ideas. Establish a priority list. If you are familiar with plants, create a list of those you want included in your design. Collect house or site plans. Think about your budget and how much you want to spend.

Design Appointment

Call Country Landscapes to make an appointment with one of our landscape designers. Your designer will discuss your proposed project, make an on-site analysis of the project area, take pictures and gather all the necessary measurements. Appointment times are during the business week, during business hours.

Presentation

Meet with your designer at Country Landscapes to review your design. This also gives you a chance to see first hand the plants and materials proposed for your design. We will call you to schedule this appointment when your design is ready. Appointments are scheduled during the business week, during business hours.

Sign the Proposal

Along with the design, you will receive a proposal of services and materials broken into as many categories as possible. After reviewing the proposal and selecting which projects to begin with, the proposal is signed and a retainer or deposit paid, equal to 25 percent of the total. Your project is then scheduled.

Installation

All projects are installed by one of Country Landscapes’ expert crews. Projects are assigned in the order of signing and deposit date. After the proposal is signed, the plants for your project are selected, landscape materials ordered, underground utility locates secured, and necessary permits acquired. You will receive notice of the anticipated start date several days in advance. You need not be home during installation, as any special needs of the crew will be arranged beforehand. Be sure to contact your designer if you have any questions.

Payment

Upon completion of your project, you will receive an invoice reflective of the project proposal that you signed, less the deposit. You are billed only for work completed. Payment is due in full upon completion of your project. Interest is charged on past due accounts at a rate of 1.5 percent per month or 18 percent per year.
